In this article, you will find out how to activate or deactivate the active scanning of an asset integrated into Serenety.

What is an active scan? 

Active scanning, governed by a mandate signed at the start of the service, enables XMCO to test all of Serenety's control points. These scans are essential to ensure the security of our customers' assets.

Therefore, unless expressly required, we do not recommend disabling this scan on your assets.

Enable or disable active scanning of an asset

Step 1 : Go to the asset management page (follow the documentation here if you don't know how to access it)

Step 2 : Select the assets whose active scan you wish to modify

Step 3 : Click on the ‘Active scans’ button that appears after the assets have been selected

Step 4 : Select the status you want for the scans on the confirmation screen
