In this article, you'll find out how to configure Yuno for a multi-tenant organisation in which each entity manages its cyber watch independently.
SUMMARY
- How independent multi-tenant works
- Step 1: Inform XMCO of the names of the entities to be integrated into the multi-tenant organisation
- Step 2: declare the entity's users
- Step 3: Set up technical cyber watch for each entity
- Step 4: Set up an environmental cyber watch for each entity
How delegated adminstration multi-tenant works
This multi-tenant configuration allows strict autonomy for each entity involved in Yuno cyber watch. Each entity can create/delete users and configure its cyber watch as it sees fit.
You can keep an access to their interface if you wish.
Step 1: Inform XMCO of the names of the entities to be integrated into the multi-tenant organisation
Send an e-mail to yuno@xmco.fr and sales@xmco.fr with the following details:
In the subject field :
- the name of your organisation
- the subject "adding new tenant".
In the body :
- the name of each new entity to be added
- the list of users in your organisation who should have access to each new entity interface.
Example of an email
Subject: "[ENTITY]: Add new tenants".
Content: "Hello,
As part of my Yuno multi-tenant package, I would like to add [one/several] additional tenants to my subscription.
Tenant 1
- Beneficiary company: [COMPANY]
- Tenant administrator: [EMAIL ADDRESS ADMINISTRATOR]
Tenant 2:
- Beneficiary company: [COMPANY]
- Tenant administrator: [EMAIL ADDRESS ADMINISTRATOR]
Thank you in advance."
On the 1st of each month, XMCO will add one interface per entity. These interfaces will be accessible to your employees.
NB: Renewal of access to Yuno for your entities is based on the renewal of your own Yuno subscription.
Step 2: declare the entity's users
1. To declare users as members of the administering organisation, go to the lePortail user list.
2. Click on the "+" symbol in the top right-hand corner. A pop-up window will open.
3. In the window, enter the following information:
- the user's surname
- the user's first name
- the user's email address (mailing list possible)
- the language spoken (French or English)
- the subscription of the target entity. It is named "Abonnement Yuno - [ENTITY NAME]".
- the user profile. This can be of 3 types :
User 1: watch manager
Users with "entity manager" profile have full control over their multi-tenant interface. They can :
- administer users
- manage the list of perimeters
- configure the cyber watch for each user
To create an "watch manager" user, select the "watch manager" profile and confirm.
User 2: regular user
Unlike "entity manager" users, regular users have access to the platform (XMCO base, Base, CVE, action plan, etc.) but do not have administrative rights.
When they are considered to be a scope manager, they are given administration rights, but only for their scope (no creation/deletion of lePortail users, for example).
To create a "regular user", select the "regular user" profile and confirm.
User 3: limited user
This type of user will not be able to access the platform. They will only receive cyber watch bulletins by e-mail.
To create a "mail-only user" user:
- select the "regular user" profile
- tick the option "activate the account for email reception only".
Once you have made your selection, click on "Add" to complete the configuration.
Additional options :
- PGP key: used to encrypt emails sent to the user. Also tick the "encrypt emails" box.
- Email format: choose whether you want the user to receive their newsletters in text or html format.
- Mobile phone: by adding the telephone number you can enable the user to receive SMS alerts in the event of a critical bulletin and activate 2-factor authentication.
Step 3: Set up technical cyber watch for each entity
To set up technical cyber watch for each entity, follow the instructions on this page.
Step 4: Set up an environmental cyber watch for each entity
Click here to find out how to set up environmental cyber watch for your entity's users.
NB: Each user can make these settings on their own account.
A user with the status "entity manager" can make these settings for all the users in their entity.
