Modify a Serenety alert

Thanks to this video, you will learn how to modify the properties of an alert.

SUMMARY


Introduction

To follow your alerts, it is sometimes necessary to modify their properties and in particular:

  • their status according to the progress of the remediation
  • their criticality level according to your real risks
  • the person assigned according to the person or team in charge of the follow-up of this ticket
  • the observer who has access to the ticket follow-up and to the main related actions


To access this page, click on My Alerts or All Alerts from the Serenety menu:



You will then arrive on the alert tracking page, click on the alert you wish to modify.


Modify the status of an alert

  1. Click on the Edit button on the right of the page
  2. Click on the Contextual Data button represented by 3 lines on the right side of the page
  3. Change the status of your alert
  4. Click on the Ok button
  5. Click on the Save button represented by a small disk on the right side of the screen
  6. A pop-up confirming your action appears on the screen




Modify the level of criticality of an alert

  1. Click on the Edit button on the right of the page
  2. Click on the Contextual Data button represented by 3 lines on the right side of the page
  3. Change the criticality level of your alert
  4. Click on the Ok button
  5. Click on the Save button represented by a small disk on the right side of the screen
  6. A pop-up confirming your action appears on the screen


Modify the assigned person of an alert

  1. Click on the Edit button on the right of the page
  2. Click on the Contextual Data button represented by 3 lines on the right side of the page
  3. Change your alert assignment
  4. Click on the Ok button
  5. Click on the Save button represented by a small disk on the right side of the screen
  6. A pop-up confirming your action appears on the screen


The Assigned parameter identifies the person in charge of processing a Serenety alert.

The alert is assigned by the consultants in charge of the Serenety monitoring during the alert creation phase, based upon the criteria defined during the set-up phase. In addition, you can also update this assignment through the interface.

The alert can be assigned to a generic account (an email address in the form of an alias for instance) or to specific members of the team (via a nominative email address).

Modify or add an observer to an alert

  1. Click on the Edit button on the right of the page
  2. Click on the Contextual Data button represented by 3 lines on the right side of the page
  3. Change or add an observer to your alert
  4. Click on the Ok button
  5. Click on the Save button represented by a small disk on the right side of the screen
  6. A pop-up confirming your action appears on the screen


The Observer status allows to follow the history of an alert even for people who are not in charge of the operational management of the ticket (Assigned status).

This status allows to follow alerts from the "My alerts" interface and via the sending of notifications related to the actions performed on the alert.
