Granting User Access to a pentest
Checking required permissions
You can grant access to pentest results to other users in the following cases:
- If you have a Manager or Manager Audit profile.
- If you have write permissions for the specific pentest.
If you are unable to perform this action yourself, please consult a Manager.
Step 1 : Access the relevant pentest
- Click on "Audit" in the menu.
- Select "My audits" from the submenu.
- Choose the specific pentest.
Step 2 : Add the user to the Pentest's User List
- Go to the "Users" tab: Here, you will find the list of all users who have been explicitly added to this audit.
Note that XMCO consultants and managers might not appear here, even though they have reading and writing permissions due to their profile.
- Click on the "Add an existing user" icon. (cf. the follow-up video)
- Select the permissions you wish to grant to the user: read-only or read and write.
The user will be added to the Users list, and a confirmation message will display, "The user has been successfully added."
