Authenticate for the first time

This article will be dedicated to the first connection to the Portal of a user.

SUMMARY

• Step 1 : Click on the first login link (email)
• Step 2 : Choose a password
• Step 3 : Test your access to the Portal

Step 1 : Click on the first login link (email)

• If your account has been created with the first login link option, you should have received an email with the subject line "[XMCO] Your portal access has been created by [First Name Last Name]".
• Click on the first link to be redirected to a Password Setup Portal interface.

Is your link obsolete or invalid ?
No worries! By going to https://leportail.xmco.fr/login, you can request a password reset (use your email address as your login).

Step 2 : Choose a password

• Enter a new password according to the following rules:
  • Do not contain more than 2 consecutive characters from your username.
  • Do not contain more than 3 consecutive characters from your old password.
  • Be at least 10 characters long.
  • Contain at least 2 characters from each category, for at least 3 of the following categories:
    • Lower case
    • Upper case
    • Numeric
    • Special
• When you are ready, click on "Submit".

Step 3 : Test your access to the Portal

Test the access to the Portal (https://leportail.xmco.fr) with your login (your email address registered at the creation of the account) and your new password.

Then click "Next" and log in with your credentials to complete your account setup.
You should land on the Dashboard. 

Congratulations, you are now connected to the Portal!
